SOCIAL: French Connection Preview Party
Last minute, we received an invite for the French Connection Spring/Summer 2015 Collection Preview Party at Michelson Studio. The loft was located deep in the West Village which was a nice walk in the beautiful weather New York City has been blessed with. Leather coats dominated the night at the preview event, and the menswear portion was conveniently located right by the bar, which was serving the 'French Connection Fizz" we sipped on all night! The "Party in the USA" drink was the popular choice, with the official hashtag being #fcpartyintheusa.
Previewing the mens' collection, we were pleased to see French Connection hasn't lost its signature edge without being too American. Our favorite pieces included a double-skull track jacket, a monochromaticl red outfit, and the waves on many of their t-shirts. Mixing and matching prints isn't always the easiest to do, but French Connection managed to do so flawlessly.
Kicking it back old school, the Polaroid camera was definitely our favorite part of the night! We saw guests lining up for it and waited our turn for one right behind Yolanda Foster and her daughter Bella Hadid. Other famous famous faces include Poppy Delevingne, Tennessee Thomas, Philip Bloch, Michael Barnett, and countless mens style bloggers.
