#MusicMonday: Top 10 Music Videos of 2014

In feature films, there are several things I look for – a good soundtrack, pretty people, ample lens flare, and no discernable plot. So basically I want every film I see to be a music video. I discovered the beauty of the music video as an artistic format around the time I discovered the beauty of marijuana as a type of plant. Music videos combine the sonic high of music with dazzling visuals and present us with a glimpse into the artist’s psyche. I also want my life to be a music video. Who doesn’t? Beautiful people in next-level threads ingesting designer substances in aesthetically pleasing locations, and nary a basic or bad dancer in sight. So without further adieu, I present to you 10 music videos from 2014 that I want to live in. Quick shout outs to Nabil for directing two of these videos, and my girl Nicki slaying another two.
