#MusicMonday: Summer Soundcloud Mix
For nerdos like myself who wiped out my entire iTunes collection upon purchasing a premium account, it hits like a knife in the chest when I realize a trill track hasn’t made it to Spotify. Luckily, Soundcloud exists to heal my first world wounds. I mainly use Soundcloud to bump up-and-coming rappers and, less interestingly, DJ remixes. I try not to overload on said remixes because at a certain point they turn my brain to mush and I start to feel like I’m coming down from MDMA. But before then, I feel damn good. And if there is ever an appropriate time to blast decadent remixes with abandon, it’s the advent of summer, when serotonin is basically in the air and nothing can bring us down.
