IN CROWD: Lauren Rae Levy's NYFW Kick-Off
Every NYFW, stylist Lauren Rae Levy comes from Malibu to throw her NYFW black and white party. Hosted this season at the new hot spot Sanatorium by Mixology Clothing Company, it was a packed house when we arrived. Notable guests of the evening were men's style icon Keino Benjamin, models Elliott Sailor and Jamie Gunns Cipriani, artist Bradley Theodore, singer Constantine Maroulis, recent viral sensation Liz Black, and PR Mogul- who represents Sanatorium- Kiara Horwitz. Guests enjoyed Sanatorium's specialty cocktails, courtesy of Tito's Handmade Vodka which were curated specially by mixologist Albert Trummer.
When things got crowded, we escaped to the secret downstairs part of the bar through the kitchen, setting up an area of exclusivity among the already exclusive. Lasting well past midnight, we loved the brand new space being filled with music by DJ Rose. Dancing the night away, we had a little pick-me-up, courtesy of energy drink Makeup & Muscles. Guests left with a gift bag filled with a "LRL" printed candle from Mixology, cookies and brownies from "Queen B Sweets", and a stain remover kit from Madame Paulette. Always a surprise, we can't wait to see what tricks Levy has up her sleeve for next year!
